It's been about 4 weeks since our garbage disposals battery died, or perhaps it got clogged by some crap. Won't know until it gets fixed, one of the tasks that Ohan told me to accomplish was WASH THE DISHES--- By Hand.
The truth is there two fold. The more you procrastinate, the harder the job will be. I stopped procrastinating.
Growing up we had a dishwasher, but there were many places I went and washed dishes where there wasnt one. EG. Take for Instance my Dad's Moms house - e.g. my grandma. So here is Tip #1 of things to always have on hand when doing dishes
A Big Plastic or Metal Bin. Fill one with soap and water and one with just plain rinsing water.
Heres an Example : https://www.katom.com/166-BEV1220.html?zmam=29342707&zmas=1&zmac=32&zmap=166-BEV1220&utm_source=google&utm_medium=adwords&utm_campaign=CSE&gclid=Cj0KEQjwtaexBRCohZOAoOPL88oBEiQAr96eSKPz1Lr6cDTf_42U13RBMx5tmoWVZl42E5ud9mteVxcaAugW8P8HAQ
Part 2 : Always have a towel on hand
Part 3 : Put the Dishes up so they don't accumulate
Along the Journey some other things I learned was follow my fathers mantra " use a brush" this ensures that theres no caking on stuff for when person needs to use that dish or utensil next
I also learned along this journey why my partner loves plastic, and why I hate it.
Below I will share some tips on ways to reduce the waste of breakable, weak and inefficent plastic.
When you have your friends over have them bring their own plates, or make sure to have your dish washing station on hand and plenty of ceramic plates available.
Reusable BPA free Plastic and Compostable Plates are also an option: http://letsgogreen.biz/pages/utensils/utensils.html
And of course they invented taco salad for a reason --- eat your bowls and plates and cups : http://food-hacks.wonderhowto.com/how-to/6-easy-edible-bowls-you-can-make-home- 0159331/ http://www.loliware.com/
